Quiet, authentic, unspoilt

When the first snowflakes fall and Radein is covered in a soft, white blanket, a very special time begins here at the Pitschlhof.

At an altitude of 1,400 metres, surrounded by snow-covered forests and a tranquil mountain world, you will experience a winter holiday in South Tyrol that slows you down.
Just peace and quiet. Nature. Time.

Skiing in South Tyrol – small, refined, family-friendly

If you are looking for a small-scale skiing holiday, you have come to the right place. The Jochgrimm ski area, only about 25 minutes away by car, offers:

  • clear, snow-sure slopes

  • a family-friendly atmosphere

  • ideal conditions for children and beginners

This is not about kilometres of slopes, but about enjoying the snow – in peace and quiet. Fancy more action? Day trips to Obereggen or Pampeago are possible – for the more athletically ambitious

Tobogganing in Radein – like in the old days, without all the fuss

Tobogganing in Radein has its own unique charm: a few simple toboggan runs around the village – often prepared by the farmers themselves – offer peaceful descents for families and children.

Open space, crunching snow and the real feeling of "back in the day".

We are happy to lend you sledges, of course!

Snowshoeing – experience the silence of winter

Fantastic snowshoe hikes start directly from the Pitschlhof into the surrounding winter landscape.

  • Through quiet larch forests

  • across glistening meadows and slopes

  • to hidden vantage points with views of the Weißhorn and Schwarzhorn

An experience for everyone who wants to feel winter with all their senses. Snowshoes are available free of charge – personal tour tips included.

Winter tranquillity at the farm – warmth. Closeness. Time.

When it gets quiet outside, it gets cosy inside. The wood-burning stove crackles in the parlour, and people read, play and chat at the table.
The children build snowmen or romp through the snow, then enjoy hot cocoa by the warm tiled stove.

It's not the programme that counts here, but the moment.
A winter holiday in Radein is a holiday for the essentials – for you.

Advent and Christmas markets – South Tyrol's quiet time

Those who spend winter in Radein during Advent experience the magic of this quiet time in a very special way.
The most beautiful Christmas markets in South Tyrol are just a day trip away:

  • Bolzano – South Tyrol's capital city aglow with lights

  • Merano – with thermal baths and Christmas magic

  • Trento – Italian flair and traditional Advent

And afterwards: back to tranquillity, back to the snow, back to the Pitschlhof – where silence is not only audible, but palpable.
