Bolzano – South Tyrol's lively capital – is only a 40-minute drive from the Pitschlhof. Here you will find historic arcades, small boutiques, cosy cafés and the famous Ötzi Museum (South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology).

Merano, the charming spa town with thermal baths, gardens and Mediterranean flair, can be reached in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Ideal for a day trip with a stroll through the town and a detour to the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle.

Trento, already on the Italian side, can be reached in about 1 hour. The city offers a beautiful old town, numerous shops and the modern MUSE science museum, which is particularly exciting for children.
